Converted in 1992 by James Mulvenna, Dufferin House was originally built in the late 1800’s. It originally provided rooms to rent beside Bangors Train station, It offered lodgings to many new arrivals to Bangor after WW2. Many new arrivals became well known Bangor Families. After a golden post war period Dufferin Ave went into a slight decline in the 70’s and 80’s but has now been fully rejuvenated by local builders with a special mention to David Dungeon.
